Our Team
The Hand Wrist Study Group originates from a long-standing collaboration between the Erasmus MC (dept. Rehabilitation Medicine & Plastic Surgery), Xpert Clinics Hand- en polszorg, and Xpert Handtherapie. Our daily work involves a variety of activities: from developing and implementing tools for data collection in clinical settings, large scale analysis of health outcomes and creating feedback mechanisms and interventions targeted at improving health outcomes.
A multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and engineers is focussed on ensuring we collect and analyze our data in such a way to provide insights that can improve the quality of care. See the drop down menu for team members within the different disciplines.
We are actively collaborating with ICHOM to develop consensus on a standard set for hand and wrist disorders. We won both the Achmea Quality Award (2014) and the Value-Based Health Care Patient Outcome Award (2016) for our efforts.
