How do patients experience the use of patient- and outcome information tools by their clinicians?

In value-based healthcare, organizations are increasingly collecting patient-reported and clinician-reported outcomes (#PROMS and #CROs) to deliver personalized care. Integrating outcome information into daily care through outcome information tools (#OIT) can empower patients by enhancing their understanding of the information provided and creating decision support.

Danée Arends and colleagues investigated patients' perspectives on using OITs in daily care, focusing on what influences patients' general understanding and perceived value of patient and outcome information.
