14 years = 100th article
We are thrilled to share that after 14 years of collaboration between the Erasmus MC and Xpert clinics, we have now published our 100th peer-reviewed article!
Our collaboration started in 2009 with the development of PULSE, a data-collection and analysis platform designed to automate the process of collecting and analyzing data from patients and health care professionals in the Xpert Clinics. Thanks to the data collected by PULSE, we have been able to provide evidence on the effectiveness of different treatments and to identity factors that determine individual treatment outcomes. Versions of Pulse are implemented in the Erasmus MC, Switzerland, and the UK.
Last year, we have co-developed and implemented the international standardized set of ICHOM outcome indicators into PULSE, enabling outcomes to be compared internationally. This is a significant milestone in our collaboration, and we are excited to continue working together to improve the treatment of patients with hand and wrist disorders.
We look forward to continuing our work together and making even greater strides in improving the quality of hand and wrist care.
Sincerely, The Hand Wrist Study Group
