Isabel Jongen, PhD-student
 

Isabel is a PhD student at the Dept. of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at Erasmus MC. Isabel joined the HWSG in 2023 after completing her Medicine degree in Groningen, The Netherlands. Her research focuses on (non)surgical treatment approaches and prognostic factors related to midcarpal and thumb base instability. Besides being a full-time PhD student, Isabel is a board member of the PromovendiClub NVPC, representing all PhD researchers throughout the Netherlands.
